About WellnessCore Indonesia
WellnessCore is an English-language editorial resource about everyday wellness supplements sold in Indonesia. We write for shoppers standing in an apotek or scrolling a marketplace listing, working out the difference between two boxes that look nearly identical.
What this site is
An editorial guide. We do not sell products, take orders, or ship anything — no page here leads to a checkout.
A guide written for the person holding two boxes
The site is based in Seminyak, Bali, and our output is text: product notes, comparisons, and practical guides about format, ingredients, and routine fit. Nothing on the shelf is described with a promise attached; each note explains what the product is and where it sits among the others.
That framing matters when two boxes carry similar front-of-pack language. A heritage blend and an imported softgel can sit side by side on the same shelf and answer completely different daily habits, so we describe both the same way and let the reader match one to their own week.

Who writes the guide
The editorial team is small and reads the same retail sources Indonesian shoppers do: pharmacy assortment pages, marketplace listings, and market coverage of wellness brands active in the country. We are not a medical practice and we do not present ourselves as one.
The writing is aimed at comparison, which is why our pages are organised around format, ingredient profile, and shelf position rather than around outcomes. Every page is written in English for readers who want a clear explanation of products they already recognise by name.
How we research product notes
Each note starts from what is verifiable about a product: its format, its ingredient profile, and where it appears in Indonesian retail or marketplace coverage. For example, Blackmores Excell-C 1000 mg and the betaglucan version are both tablet-format vitamin C products listed on Watsons Indonesia's wellness assortment page, so that is what we say.
We do not infer quality from price, and we do not convert sales volume into a recommendation. If a fact is not supported by the retail or market coverage we are reading, it does not go into the note.
What a note records
- Format Tablet, softgel, capsule, sachet, or herbal blend — the shape and count the box declares.
- Ingredient profile What the product is built around, named as the retail listing names it.
- Retail position Where the product appears in Indonesian assortment and marketplace coverage.
- Source line The retail or market page the detail came from, so a reader can check it.
What we say about rankings and data
Marketplace rankings describe sales volume over a stated period, and we report them that way. Blackmores placing first in a January to June 2026 marketplace GMV ranking for multivitamins on Shopee and Tokopedia tells you the brand sold the most in that window. It does not tell you which multivitamin suits your routine.
We keep that distinction visible on every page where a ranking is mentioned, because the gap between popularity and fit is exactly where shoppers get misled.
Editorial boundaries
We do not publish star ratings, review quotes, or numbered best-of lists, because those formats hide the reasoning that a comparison should make visible. Our pages describe what a product is and how it is typically used in a daily routine.
A comparison that cannot show its reasoning is not a comparison.
We do not make outcome claims, and we avoid the language of medical advice entirely. If a question moves into a medical area, our answer is to point to a qualified professional rather than expand the scope of the site.
Local heritage and imported brands, described the same way
Indonesian wellness retail runs on both. We apply one standard to all of them: format, ingredients, retail position. A heritage blend and an imported softgel get the same treatment, and neither gets a promotional push.

Corrections and updates
Retail assortment pages change, brands reposition products, and pack sizes get revised. When we learn of a change, the affected note is updated rather than left to age quietly. Corrections from readers are one of the more useful inputs we get, because they often catch a shift that has not yet appeared in the coverage we read.
What changes
Assortment listings, pack sizes, and brand positioning across Indonesian retail and marketplaces.
How a note is revised
We re-read the source the detail came from, then rewrite the note so it reflects the current listing rather than the old one.
What to send us
The product name plus what should change. Submit it through the Contact page and it triggers a review.
What we do not do
We do not sell supplements, process orders, or operate a shop of any kind. We do not offer personalised advice, and we do not publish content about health conditions.
The site exists to explain products that Indonesian shoppers already see on shelves, in plain English, with claims kept to what the retail and market coverage supports. That constraint is deliberate, and it shapes every page.
